Pulled myself out of the door. It's cool slightly rainy and I'm not looking forward to any of it again. It was beautiful this morning where has the sun gone. Mentally I'm not in the zone at all. Just thought I wonder if it's because it's a steady uphill first leg and then down hill on the way back.
So pleased with my time I'm getting just a tad faster each time. On the way back I can stretch those legs out for a proper kind of run - this feels good. I have three bridges which I run underneath which is more or less 2.5k and then I go under the same three back again. The route is a disused railway line so cyclists, dog walkers and runs all use it.
Had one of theses dogs growl at me today - I hate that - was bitten out of the blue not so long ago so still quite touchy about dogs.
Forgot my tissue so I think I looked like a snail had walked across my face. I won't run until Saturday I need to give my legs a rest because there's a slight twing going on. Maybe some stretches over the next couple of days.

Hi.... Is it possible that you could run somewhere else? There's nothing like a little variety to provide a bit of a challenge and keep things interesting. Have you tried running on the road? Providing that you wear some hi vis clothing, keep to the right hand side and face the traffic (I'm assuming here that you're in the UK of course) and act sensibly, you will find that most motorists will give you room.
