I have stepped up the programme a little bit as I have a target date for completion so that my graduation run is a Parkrun on 7th March (injury permitting!). The reason being I am off on holiday on the 9th and wanted to graduate before I go.
It will mean a couple of 36 hour recoveries instead of 48, but I will watch carefully to make sure my old legs and joints can cope. If not I will have to graduate in Cuba!
I have started to use STRAVA as well as Garmin Connect and like the way it gives you personal bests for Km, mile, 2 mile etc. Very motivating!
My pace continues to creep up and feel my recovery time improving after each run.
Ran in my new shoes today (the red devils!), pleased to say that they are comfortable. Might put them away now for my holidays!

Sounds like you're doing great, old git, and congratulations with being so close to graduation. 36 hours might be okay for a few times, but remember that it's during recovery that you grow stronger, so it's important to listen to your body. I hope it goes well and that you hit your target date.
Fab stuff OG ! Those new runners have given you wings ha ha
On the home strait now , youre well over the hump and its all straight running from here .
I wish you " Buena Suerte " that's good luck in Spanish, I think that's the main language in Cuba, although Im not too sure , anyway I don't speak Cubanese
