Somedays... you just can't stop...

Had the opportunity to run in Bournemouth at the weekend on a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon. Decided to run on the beach footpath and was very pleased to get away from the mass of tourists, kids, buggies and dogs!!

5k later I got to lovely area with hardly anyone around :-) .... So, after turning around and slowly running back I knocked up my 2nd ever 10k run... whoop.. whoop :-)

Time wasn't great... but who cares... the view was!!!

Think i will have to drive to the coast for run, when the weather is better :D

Thank goodness normal service was resumed this week at PR no PB but still sub30 so cant complain , I am trying to concentrate more on the 10K, as signed up for a race in July, and running for longer time/distance :D

The really touching and pleasing thing is my son wants to come and watch me do the 10K :D think if i do it there will be tears if he is there watching !

Wow a great run, well done. What a lovely place to run, and time doesn't matter does it, as long as we are enjoying ourselves x :-)

If I had somewhere beautiful like that to run I would enter for a marathon!

That looks lovely!! Congrats on the 10km. Sometimes it's important to just go out and run and enjoy it. who cares about time when you have a view like that. That is what is so special about running you can pack you trainers and take them anywhere and see some lovely things.

Nice one Andy. I had a lovely valentines walk along Bournemouth beach path in the sunshine on Saturday. Didn't set a PB, but had a lovely cup of coffee and a bag of chips 😄😄😄

That's what I'm hoping... read a lot about the benefits of a "long" run. Out again tonight after my day off yesterday.. hopefully the legs will be ok :-)
