This looks as though it could be fun - certainly a different experience!

Looks like it could be great fun! I have an issue with "minimum fund raising targets" that basically put a price on going for a run, but totally understand it goes to a good cause.

Totally with you, Tomas. That puts me off too. I understand, fully, that they want to raise as much as possible for a great cause (which it is) but I have never asked for sponsorship for any of my races and I never will. I just don't feel comfortable with it and with the amount of races we do, people would get bloody sick of our asking!

When signing-up for a race, if there's a donation option, like there is with the Jane Tomlinson series of races, I happily donate when I sign-up, I just don't like asking for sponsorship. Though I will sponsor others if they ask.

Personally I'm put off any race with a minimum target.

Though, Ully, that really does look a fantastic race and unique experience and I'd sign up in a heartbeat if it wasn't for that, perhaps teaming up with someone here!

That looks like great fun, I would love to do that! I will definitely think about it. LIke MY though,I wish we could just donate 'x' amount. Its quite a lot of money to raise x
