Looked out the window at 7am this morning & it was daylight☺ Decided I would run for an hour. No particular distance or route - just see where my legs took me. Off I went & after 10 minutes felt rough - legs, back, stomach, pretty much everywhere aching. Now pre C25K I would have given up but post C25K I gave myself a good talking to & kept gping. Half way & the aches had gone & I had hit my (very slow) stride. Thanks to the daylight I didn't have to stick to the main roads - it was a bit of park, bit of footpath through a field & bit by the creek route. Got home feeling a real sense of achievement & if I'm honest very smug too. So, if you feel like a horse has rolled on you when you set out try & power through it - without causing yourself serious injury - you'll feel blooming marvellous if you can manage it!
A terrible start but then ......: Looked out the... - Couch to 5K
