A couple of days ago I announced that I was going to run at a new local parkrun (inaugural meeting) which is 1800 feet high. We got a LOT of rain yesterday - but I was hoping that the site on top of the mountain would be drier as it would have been above the clouds!!!! WRONG!!!! They got over 9 inches of rain within the 24 hour period - and it had to be called off!!!

Nine inches? Blimey, Bazza! They don't even get that much in Manchester! Hope they can hold the event soon.

Wow! That's some rain! What a shame for everyone. I'm sure it won't dampen people's enthusiasm for next week!
