W2R3 - hello sunshine

After taking two days rest from running, I was not looking forward to running today. I had my lazy legs on today. But, with the snow and ice a distant memory (at least during daylight hours) and phone diary reminding me that I had a run set in stone today, I left my gremlin drinking coffee on the sofa and set out. Frankly, the warm-up was boring - it was cold and I was walking up-hill; every time I had a road to cross cars appeared from nowhere slowing down my brisk walk. Then, just before the first run, out came the sunshine and the traffic died down. I hardly noticed the boring music, ran and walked as and when instructed. Found the fourth run the most challenging and was grateful when Laura said it was time to walk. After that, rest of time went surprisingly quickly. Most difficult part was negotiating running past a dog walker who had little control of her dog and kept letting in criss-cross the pavement on a long lead. All in all, a good run.
