So with only my eyes showing (and they have glasses covering them)Laura and I(good grammar) set off...my last words to my OH being I may be some time....was sadly lost on him as he had sneaked out to improve his step count on the fitbit flex I gave him for Christmas. He and my daughter are competing...think daughter will win as she is always training for some marathon or another. Anyway I digress...a well known flaw in my character..one of many...I had last gone for a jogette on December 9th when cold ,virus and the end of term hit.Carols, children dressed as angels and the school christmas lunch not to mention a fraught trip to the Panto did for me...so was tired and ill over the holiday, but still managed a few sherries! So today was week 6run1to see how I did...and apart from the weather, legs numb with cold and needing windscreen wipers for glasses it went surprisingly well. By that I mean a) I planned to go out b)I went out c)I completed it!!!I could have so easily have stayed in and watched the rest of Mary Poppins lol! Happy running!!!

Well done! It is so easy to stay in where it is nice and cosy.

Glad to see you were not "some time" :)

You made a plan, stuck to it and completed!

Happy running :)

Fab stuff Pot ! Your run sounds like just what you needed ! Well Done to you :-) A little tip to stop the rain running down your specs , is to wear a baseball cap. Keeps the rain off a treat ! :-)

Keep going, youre doing great ! :-) xxx
