A month ago today I had the ridiculous idea (encouraged by my triathlete daughter) to attempt C25K. I struggled with a friend to run at 60 second intervals and couldn't believe a minute lasted so long. Well today folks, just one month later...I ran for 20 minutes straight!!! It was slow but I did it, bloody miracle.
I am completely hooked and have arranged my Christmas Day run, thank you Laura, thank you fellow runners and thank you NHS for such an inspired set of instructions. All of my friends and family think I'm either mad, brave or delusional. I think I'm a mixture of all three but I ain't knocking it, I'm DOING it!
HAPPY CHRISTMAS ALL!
Love JJ.

We all told you to follow the plan and you'd get there... really well done Looks like you're hooked now and the dedication to run on Christmas day shows it... ill also be out rain or shine. I'm trying to think what i was doing last Christmas, but i'm sure running was the last thing on my mind.
Well done. Its amazing isn't it, how much you can do that you thought was impossible. Keep going!
That's a fab run isn't it - the 20 min one? That's when you start to dare to believe you can do it..well done you, I look forward to hearing you've graduated xx
W5r3, the best run in the whole programme. When you can do that, you KNOW you can run. Hold on to the feeling because w6 is surprisingly hard and it's caught lots of us out. Good luck Jenjan. Happy running
Keep on running and never mind what folks say. These runs are for you! Happy running on Christmas Day. Don't get diverted by anything! Get your shoes on and clear off. Leave at home and have yourself a blast!
Well done, it's such an amazing feeling isn't it?! I clearly remember the elation after my first 20 min run, I also remember feeling how was I ever going to do more than 90 seconds as I was just about flat on my face after the first run / walk!
