Hopefully my injury has healed. Not felt any pain so I assume that it has corrected itself. Instead of jumping back on to the last run which was w6 r3, I am going to re do run 2 and see how it holds up. If it goes well tonight then I will attempt run 3 on thursday.
But before all that, I need to lose some weight and give my beard a trim.

Hi Kurama , hopefully all is well and you have fully recovered ,just take it easy and see how it feels
Run went well. Managed two 12 min sections with a 2 min walk as the toe pulled a little. It soon passed and I carried on again. I think I'll try this again on Thursday before I have a crack at the full 25 mins on Saturday.
Kurama, I bet the beard weighs a ton! Indeed do the run in a measured way, no need to force anything, lubricate the tendons to a good warm up, and listen to that body of yours; I bet it'll push you rather than you, haha! Well done!
The beard is handy when running in the rain as it keeps the face warm. I am glad I did the run they way I did in the end. I finished it and had minor problems. The foot played up a little yesterday but being a rest day I didn't mind. I was still able to walk about 5 miles in total and it eased off again.
I am going to try a similar run again tonight and see how it goes. I'll use run 3 pop cast and if I do it then great. If not then I'll accept that and try again on Saturday.
Not sure if it my trainers that are aggravating the injury or not. Seemed fine in my walking boots at work. I have some new trainers on the way which are bether suited to road running ththan my current ones which are trail. They were ok to start with but now I am geting more distance and longer times, I need something more suited.
