Have just started (tentatively) with Hatha Yoga once a week to sort out my flexibility - particularly tight calves.
Anyone got any observations about the compatibility (or otherwise) of yoga and the C25K plan?

Hi ppaul. I do 20 minutes of yoga before I go to bed. I started this before C25k, mainly to help me stretch out after a long day, and I think it's helped me with flexibility. I do some of the stretches after running as I find them useful for difficult areas like hamstrings & quads.
I think it's really good idea.My yoga teacher has really helped me sort out all sorts of niggles (some running related and some not) and you will be taught how to stretch properly eg not just bend over and touch your toes but how you get into the right postion to bend over and how best to use your body to stand upright again. Good luck and hope you enjoy the yoga.
Yoga is good! I do Jillian Michaels yoga DVD but she's not a yoga instructor so her workouts are a bit quicker I think and not relaxed as you'd expect it to be.
I think yoga helps stretch everything out as it's easy to get tight through the legs from ankles to hips, which is why I started it. It will make you stronger to I think
I do a couple of rounds of sun salutation every morning to get me moving. Yoga generally is good for stretching and strengthening.
