Still stuck on 2out of 3 at the moment. Leg far too sore to do any cycling at the moment. :( Need to go back to see the Lovely James and get more physio. I will do it though, I really really want that 'Triathlete' appellation!

Keep seeing the physio, don't rush your body into more than it can cope with.

Run complete; cycling planned for tonight (was going to be yesterday, but somehow that turned into another run....); swim scheduled for Wednesday, so although very last minute, still very much in mind!

Good going agedsnailspace!

Latest update - 30 mins cycling completed last night (despite the truly horrible drive home making me almost 2 hours late in starting!). Can't believe how little effort cycling seems to take now (compared to the few abortive attempts I tried before I started running). Legs and lungs found the exercise a breeze - other parts (that running clearly does not reach) suggest that I either start doing John Wayne impressions or buy a softer saddle before I try for any longer rides...

Just the swim tomorrow to go now!

Morning Sir. Hoping to complete the challenge on Thursday. Currently laid low by infection and antibiotics.

Out running perhaps? Doing S&F? Cycling? Elf sitting? Ironman training? Xx

Done it! (I decided I had to do it in the right order.)

Swimming (Tuesday), check!

Cycling (Sunday), check!

Running (this morning), check!

Completed that bit, just need to find a charity box to put my pound into!

Do we get a medal? I did a tri yesterday, we didn't get a medal, got a t-shirt, but I was a bit disappointed with no medal.

Well done Beads (triathlete)! I'm afraid you don't get a medal but you do have a mention in dispatches.

I signed up for this dozzer but I'm still on the injury couch and don't foresee me running any time soon. I can swim and cycle. What else can I do to replace the run? I know it's not the same but I love the idea and want to do it properly, just not yet! I'll still give to my charity though as 2 out of 3 ain't bad!

I couldn't run either so substituted a 30minute brisk limpy walk. Annoyingly, the run was the only thing I wasn't worried about completing when I originally signed up. :/

How about a walk round the park? Gentle pace? Speed not necessary? All our completing triathletes have done what they can. Cross-training has been done. Splashing in paddling pool with grandchildren. We're not too exacting.

Oh mighty SI, Have finished now. Did the final 30mins on friend's cross trainer thing & despite saying she wouldn't watch me sweat, she did & kept me talking all the while. Time went quicker this way but very out of breath. I'm not getting off this couch 'til Christmas.
