This was the view this morning as I did my first (jet-lag recovery) run in New Zealand! (sorry about the sideways presentation) My route looked out over my daughter and son-in law's farm to the snow-topped Kaweka range. I was worried the transition to winter running might be tricky but it was a glorious crisp morning and much more fun than running in the sticky heat of the last few days in England. I have a plan which involves doing a 5K trail race with my daughter in three weeks time. Will post details of my progress or lack thereof..

Looks absolutely wonderful TT! What I wouldn't do for a cool crisp morning! How lovely to be running with your daughter .

Well I for one am VERY jealous.
Both of this view and the thought of running around somewhere with lovely cool air rather than this stuffy, airless little island. Enjoy TT

Looks like some stunning scenery, very inspirational.....and I'm sure quite cool over the ditch at the moment.
Have s great holiday.

Are you sure that you are in New Zealand?? Looks a lot like England to me!! Beautiful -- I love both NZ and UK.

Wow, that looks amazing! Enjoy your runs while you are there - how nice to be running with your daughter in crisp morning air and in such fantastic surroundings

Beautiful scenery...God's country for sure! Enjoy your holiday.

Oh how wonderful. I have always had a yearning to visit NZ. Perhaps you could post a few pics of you running through the countryside ???
