Last week of the 9 week program completed this morning. It was really hard due to the hot weather and humidity in Scotland this morning.
This was my third attempt at this program. Attempt one was two years ago and I got to week three when I really injured my knee. The injury lasted for over eight weeks and I never managed to get started again. I then got to week 7 last year before I had to stop through a shoulder problem that made it too painful to run.
So being determined to crack this, I started again in May and have now just completed W9R3. I seldom post on the forum, but read the forum a lot so would like to say thanks for the inspiration I get from ready the various posts.

Congratulations and a huge Well Done. Your perseverance has paid off and I hope you have many years of happy and injury free running ahead of you. I missed the cool window of haar here on the east coast this morning and am now waiting for it to cool down before I head out. I found running in the sleet and rain easier, so you have always got that to look forward too
Congratulations from a fellow runner who graduated this morning! It sounds like it was much hotter in Scotland. You have a lot of perseverance. Happy running.
