The £12.99 hrm watch looks worth a try for the price. Unfortunately I shall be stuck at work nowhere near a lidl.

I shall have a look-see. Ta for the heads up. Til I took up running I thought our Lidl was too far away. It's not now!

I was in Aldi the other day looking for running socks etc. What a bleepin palaver! The brand new store is like a rummage sale from top to bottom. Stuff is chucked about any how! It was so ruddy hot that I just couldn't be bothered to plough through the numerous dump bins trying to find things. The clothing banks at Tesco look positively inviting compared to this mess. I can't think why they treat their stock like this as it's such good stuff. The running tees and zipped jerkins, white compression vests (really swanky) are in bags with no sizes on. To find out the size you have to take the item out of the bag! Lots of them were not put back so were loose all over the place. Who has time or patience for this. I was reading last week that Aldi staff are paid more than M & S staff, so you think they'd know how to display the stock. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I gave up and came out empty handed. I would have bought a running jerkin (sp?), running top, socks and a vest had I been able to lay hands on what I was looking for. I had lost the will to live and gave up.

I hope to have better luck in Lidl!

Off to Lidl!!!!!

They have a walkers rucksack on offer so gonna try and snap up one of those. Might just get some running stuff if they have any left by the time I get there. Not that I'm desperate for colourful running tops, capris and bras, or socks for that matter. Not me, no siree Bob. I might even not even be tempted to buy one single solitary thing, nuffin, zilch, nada

I can walk past a shop full of running gear and not even let my eyes stray over it at all.
