Have got to say I found this last run tough. I think I'd built it up in my mind and I wasn't able to keep up the speed I'd set myself but I kept running and that's something I've never been able to do before. Me and my asthmatic badger (who was particularly noisy today) are off for a lie down in a darkened room.

From here I'm going to try the C25K+ podcasts and try to run the whole Race for Life in 2 weeks time. After that a new Parkrun is due to be launched in our town which will be perfect timing!

Thank you everyone for your posts and encouragement!

Happy Running everyone!

Congratulations to you and the asthmatic badger. Maybe one day you'll get to run independently!

It's great you've got a plan for what you want to do with your new skill.

Thanks. Thought I'd shaken the badger off but by the racket today think he'd brought his family along.

Thanks so much. Think my badger came back to me of his own accord today! Perhaps I can hire him out??? Yes, looking forward to our Parkrun starting sometime in July.

Thank you M_Y. Don't think I can ever reach your dizzy heights though (except for yogurting the cat, could manage that!).
