Have got to say I found this last run tough. I think I'd built it up in my mind and I wasn't able to keep up the speed I'd set myself but I kept running and that's something I've never been able to do before. Me and my asthmatic badger (who was particularly noisy today) are off for a lie down in a darkened room.
From here I'm going to try the C25K+ podcasts and try to run the whole Race for Life in 2 weeks time. After that a new Parkrun is due to be launched in our town which will be perfect timing!
Thank you everyone for your posts and encouragement!
Happy Running everyone!

Congratulations on graduating!!! Good luck for race for life run and let us know how the podcasts for c25k are. I was thinking about doing these too when i eventually graduate but not sure.
Yay, congratulations. A big well done and the badge looks super Let us know how you get on with the c25k+ as I'm looking to do the same after a couple of weeks of just running without concentrating on anything other than running
Thanks so much. Think my badger came back to me of his own accord today! Perhaps I can hire him out??? Yes, looking forward to our Parkrun starting sometime in July.
