Well havent run for 3 weeks because of achillies tendon problem. So started with W2R2 and completed it with little pain. Will do 1 more W2 run before progressing to W3.

I don't know! Another ankle problem. It seems to be catching.

Go carefully Hoops, and you'll get there in the end.

Make sure you stretch REALLY WELL after your runs. I've found that standing with one leg in front of the other, keeping the back leg straight and the front leg bent at the knee, hands against a wall, and then leaning forward while keeping the back heel on the ground gives a really good stretch for the calf muscle and the Achilles tendon. 5 sets of 15 seconds for each leg. This has helped me overcome my Achilles tendon aches and pains.

I echo Thomas comments. I have achilles issues as well. Ice after a run and the night before a run together with gentle stretching before the run certainly helped me.

I have 6 ice packs in the freezer and they are constantly used. Must do more stretching though

Is it just me or does everyone stand on one leg to brush their teeth these days? I find myself involuntarily standing on one leg in all sorts of places. I will get locked up!
