Graduation run! And a break in....

I have done IT! Finally got there - yes, run 3 of week 9 is over and in just 16 weeks ;) ok, I may feel a bit envious of those of you who managed to do it in 9 weeks but the point is : I can run again!

The run itself was uneventful, not many people around , and especially very few dogs - Rowan was happy off the lead and I even increased my speed a little, the road was a bit slippery and rain threatened but it stayed dry... I left the house and was back exactly 62 minutes later, including a few minutes of playing fetch:) Before starting the C25K the same route used to take me about 1 and half hour

Have some plans for the future: keep up 3 times a week, get to run those 5 km since at the moment it's only 3.5 in 30 minutes... and after that work on increasing the speed... I'll keep reading and posting here, it is such a great support!

The most interesting part of the run today came when I arrived back home, looking forward to my half hour yoga and a hot shower... just to find myself locked out! No matter what you see on TV, the hair pin is not the way to open a lock... a sledge hammer is much better!
