I obviously managed to put a bit more effort into w1r2 as I wrecked my knee. It gradually got worse over the next week and I gave in on Friday after limping in agony around the room to help my learners (adult maths). I bought a knee support thing. This has helped a lot but I can still feel potential trouble in the background. I'm sure it's just because, after a lifetime of no exercise, all my muscles are so feeble they can't hold the bones in the places they are supposed to be.
Anyway, I really am intending to get going again - I realised it was like running in Wiifit except people don't all wave at me. Any ideas of good knee muscle exercises I can do while my knee is still a bit sore? How long should I leave it before starting again? Should I wear the knee contraption most of (or all of) the time until it stops hurting completely or will this make things worse?
So irritated as my best friend said "can your knees take it?" and I replied "of course!". Grrr.
