Picking up the running again :)

Hi everyone, I graduated at the end of last year and kept running regularly until Feb/March when a combination of bad weather, illness and other commitments knocked me out of my rhythm for a while. Well, I'm now back on the wagon and easing myself back into it. Had a couple of slow 20 mins runs this week, with a walking break in the middle, and my legs are so sore but can't wait to get back into it again. Running makes you feel so fit and energised, and my confidence was an all-time high (I passed my driving test and I'm convinced the running helped!) so looking forward to making it a regular part of my life again. I'll be checking in from time to time for a bit of encouragement from all you lovely people, hope that's ok! I'm about to move to Inverness so can't wait to be running through the woods and along the coast :)

Welcome back Edqa233-and well done for getting back to your running. Congrats for passing your driving test too! I agree with you, I think the running builds our confidence in ourselves as well as our stamina. How lovely too that your move will mean you can have those lovely runs! Look forward to reading about your progress. Happy running x
