I got to Week 7 when I picked up a leg injury and had to stop and I've done no exercise and not very many steps since then.
Fast forward nearly 6 weeks and I'm back to it. I thought I'd see if I could manage week 6 and thought I'd go back further if that was a struggle.
Well, I managed it! It was hard and I was absolutely boiling (it wasn't this hot when I was last running!), but I did it! Next run is 2 x 10 minute runs, I'm not sure if I'll manage them, but I'll try.
Not much point to this, but thought I'd post in case anyone else needs to get back to running after a bit of time off.

If it was tough then perhaps you would be better off dropping back a bit further.
As stated in the guide to the plan, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running.
After that loss of condition is gradual.
All any of us can do after a lay off is to go out and see what we can comfortably manage, then build back up gently, using C25k or something similar as a guide to weekly increase.
