Backpack

I decided to run to work this morning because didn't fancy running this afternoon after work & knew I wouldn't after evening job . I had to take my towel & shoes in my backpack, never again ! It's not a easy run at best of times but today that felt hard , I did 5k today with back pack in 39 mins , I nearly stopped after 30 mins because I was at work & just kept running Laps round it , evening staff tooting horns & waving , & there's me all hot huffing & puffing . Oh well it's done now , 5k with back pack & inclines , happy running.

If you are intending to join the Army, they do a lot of backpack carrying!! :)

Ha ha I was thinking that , god how do they do it ? With all they carry ! That nearly finished me off lol . Mind you thoughts of work after it all didn't help .

Well done! I love to hear about various run-commutes that people do, as that's what I intend doing when I get a bit more stamina up. It's a brilliant idea as you get your run done, and get to/from work; what's not to like! Well done; are you going to make it a regular thing?

Yes I used to do it before injury , re graduated last week so yes I will do , but must be more organised & leave stuff in locker , hated carrying that extra weight , ha ha

That's the key to it, isn't it: organisation and forward planning? We don't have lockers where I work, so it's just a case of sticking stuff out the way somewhere. Luckily everyone leaves everyone else's stuff alone! Then there's other things to consider too like breakfast, but a little planning, that's all it needs. Good luck for your future run commuting! :-)
