Bruised Ankle

I am about to do day 3 week 2 tonight and have noticed that my right ankle/top of foot is bruised. I have not knocked it so wondered if it could be my trainers???

Are your laces too tight? I know it sounds silly but feet can swell quite a bit when we run.


Too tight laces could certainly be the problem. Have a look at this and see if any of the different ways of lacing might help.


I have broad feet at the toes (bunions!) and changed my lacing, which made a huge difference to comfort!
