Hm! I knew it was too good to be true! I am surprised to find myself looking forward to my next run. However ... I have developed a rather sore right ankle. It feels very bruised on the outside, just above the ankle. It also gives a sharp brief pain if I go downstairs too quickly. I’ve read some scary tendon stuff and and am elevating, compressing, doing ice packs and also trying to stay mobile. Has anyone else had this? How did you treat it? Strangely it doesn’t hurt when jogging (probably because I’m going so slowly). Should say, I hadnt run for years, am overweight and get my bus pass this year.

Please be careful rest it I’ve done this and year done the line I waiting for mri and most probably a operation go see your gp
No not run for a year now
Oh no! Yours sounds much more serious. I’d be gutted if I had to stop at this stage. It’s been a total shock to feel such a sense of achievement - even though it’s only week 3. I’m hope mine will recover with some tlc!
