Any advice? I'm doing the c25k here in Turkey, where the heat is starting to increase. Therefore I'm not starting my run until sunset at about 8.15pm. My question is about food, when should I eat and how much should I eat. I'm currently eating after my run which means running on an empty stomach and late meals.
I started this programme in February and now close to completion. A great thanks to Laura and the NHS without which, this would all be impossible.

I eat a banana and a natural yoghurt for breakfast. A sandwich or a salad for lunch, fish or meat and vegetables for dinner, sometimes with new potatoes. I always eat an evening meal but I sometimes drop one of the otjers.
I avoid deep fried food like chips and only have a little on raŕe occasions. Same goes for chocolate and cakws and other highly processed foods - rarely.
I haven't changed my eating habits all that much since I started running.
Running in the heat is tough when one is not used to it but you're doing brilliantly.
Another one here running in turkey , I've just completed r2 wk 9 , I was out at 6.30 am but still very warm , I run on empty & go am because this fits in better with our schedule . I would say something as light as possible about hr before soup , sandwich , . Good luck with your runs .
If you're not running until 8:15, can't you eat something not too heavy at about 6? That would give you a couple of hours before heading out which should be fine - or because you wouldn't then be eating (much) after your run then you could go later.
