I've downloaded all the podcasts and just finished week four but no music yet! When does it start?

Are you definitely following Laura's c25k podcasts because they're all music?!

I thought I was! I downloaded the app on my iPhone, where she gives you all the instructions for when to walk, when to run etc. and she calls them 'podcasts'. What am I doing wrong.

Hi there. The phone app doesn't have music. You need to download the podcast from iTunes. I did the same as you to begin with. The podcast is better because although the music is not to everyone taste, you need music to spur you on! x

And so you understand the references to Julie on the forum.

Or...turn on the podcast and then your own music. Laura will cut into your music and tell you what to do when. Well done for getting so far with no music..most people find the music really helps.

Thanks to everyone for help in getting the music through the podcasts. Can't believe I did the first four weeks totally without music but all sorted now and looking forward to my first week five run with music!

I didn't realise you could have music as well, I have just started week 4 without music. Will definately go to iTunes and download from there. Thanks :)

Me too, I found one app that just buzzes/vibrates when it's time to change pace, that was ok for the first few weeks, but I've just finished week 3 and wanted to be sure the app hadn't just crashed as I ran and ran for ages (yeah, in my dreams!) as the runs get longer. Did my first run with Laura today, it does help doesn't it?

I find Laura very helpful - both without music on the app or with music on the podcast. I found it hard to run with the music at first because I found i wanted to run in time to the music and it didn't always suit my pace. But have found if I turn the music down a bit and concentrate on my steps/breathing it works fine. And when the beat does suit my pace it is great fun!
