My first 5K on a gravel bush road

I thought it would be more difficult than on a paved surface - but I found it to be quite a bit easier. I used an old pair of running shoes. Early morning run in heavyish fog -- just a few cattle and kangaroos around as the sun started to rise higher into the sky. AND I did it non-stop!!. I seem to have conquered that aspect of my 5K career at least - although I still can run faster using run/walk.

I will do my second 10K run/walk this Tuesday in Sydney -- I am really starting to actually enjoy all this :)

Good luck with the 10k. I have one in Stornoway next Saturday. No kangaroos though!

I love the idea of seeing kangaroos on a run. Enjoy the 10k!
