Have had to give week 9, run 2 a miss. Have done too much exercise since Saturday and my muscles hurt. I could probably manage bit it would be a bad run and I'm worried I'll do some damage if I don't rest. Feel a bit fed up though so close to the end and feel I'm failing!

Ah don't give up we all have bad days, have a rest and then go for it again, i think it took me a couple of weeks to feel that i had really achieved week 9. I think it is because you are so close to the end you just want it so badly. You will get there in the end. Good luck in your quest.

You're right carerof it feels so close I really want to finish!
Aww thanks kittykat that's a lovely reply I have had a good rest tonight so fingers crossed that helps me recover

I had to take almost a week off in week 9 because of a stomach bug and you yourself know that it isn't a case of will you graduate - that's a given.
If you have been very active and want to graduate on a high, it is definitely a 'be kind to yourself week' so you feel tip top for your victory run. Why not plan a treat for yourself as a well earned reward for all your hard work so it is there when u graduate xxx
Life happens - and gets in the way. You are certainly not 'failing' just because you wisely decided to rest instead of pushing yourself to do something that might have resulted in injury - and potentially postponed your graduation for a lot longer. It's only two runs now to graduation - an extra day or so won't make much difference and may pay dividends in the long term. Good luck with your next run and best wishes.
