Oh yes. Today I venture forth against Czar Pinkie. She will fight hard, I may succumb but will have gained experience in her battlefield tactics.
The biscuits and ice cream have all been consumed they got me through a difficult period and today I was out for a skirmish I was battling heroically and then the evil foe deployed chemical warfare - pollen bombs - do not under estimate them, we have them on the run and they are getting desperate now, I have taken shelter but I will try again to break through the battle lines.
I am wounded in the foot and have fallen by the wayside. I hath girded my foot with lichens and rampion and will be sallying forth to continue the fight on the morrow
God speed my brave brothers and sisters. Don't wait for me!
I apologise sire for calling you dosser but it could have been worse. Would it cause offence or deemed to be an affront to ask how your running is going along? It may bolster moral & boost the troops to bigger & better feats on the field of battle. We need not know distances or times just that you are well pleased with your exploits sire & that the struggle is worth it.
Mmm, dosser, I'm doing my best to shake it off. Big 3/5 to come next. Trying not to flinch at prospect. If I'd not made it to 1/8 before I think I might surrender now but I can't let down the troops.
You know I'm easily confused & how long it took me to work out if you were on the side of good or evil? So 3/5 come on? 5/3 for the slow witted amongst us. Oh & good luck with that. I see now how this theme works. You certainly can't let us down - I've never been a lieutenant before & still have to have help spelling it. No we can't lose. You have to keep on to the bitter end & lead the troops onward. Did I spot Kenneth what's his name earlier? Was he the one talking to Nan? (No longer your nan but Nan, our Nan). Be careful she doesn't stage a coup. Don't forget bitter end.
Pah ! Not a patch on Bacon Grill , I see your PEK and I raise you my Bacon Grill ! Take that Dozza xxx
Hey up Dozz, I will now write this in the serious mode stylee :
Bacon Grill is a canned meat product made from chopped and cured pork (and sometimes chicken), seasoned to be similar in flavour to bacon. Manufactured in the Netherlands, it is produced by several companies, including Princes for the British market, in the style of Spam and corned beef. Bacon Grill was a standard element of rations in the British Army.
