Something pinged

Did w1r3 yesterday and was nearly at the end when something went ping in my lower calf. Do I continue tomorrow and run with it or should I rest it? Still sore but not limping now. Don't want to get out of routine if possible.

See how it feels tomorrow. I'd try some hot / cold treatment on it today then give it a try tomorrow. If it seems bad then stop. I had a few problems the first time I did the programme and pushed through all of them as I was determined to get to the 5k on target. A lot of the aches and pains I started with faded out by week 4 and I felt amazing.

I think you might have pulled a muscle in your calf. This happened to me a few months ago and it felt as if I'd kicked a stone up onto my calf. Might be wise to rest for a few days and maybe apply ice to the area. Also, make sure you stretch properly afterwards. Hope this helps :)

Thank you for your replies, decided to go with philIyq and did give w2r1a go. thought it wasn't feeling too bad, but then it went again and had to walk. Managed a very slow jog for the rest of the runs, really don't want to stop as I think I'd have to start all over again and I'd lose my determination.
