I really do - love running - it gives and gives. The time to yourself, the reflection, challenges and all of that- which is why we do it.

I have had my first week of running post marathon -and found it surprisingly hard - body gone to a bit of jelly. But I have loved the running and want to keet doing it and improve. This weeks activity as follow:

6k undulating town route - -good but challenging - a nice break in run

5k - comfort c25k run - yummy

8k - fast with me mate Mrs H - who is a hard task master- had to beg her to be kind to me - she would have none it -' keep running' she said.

4k audiofuel - speed - on account was so hungover - i needed to do something short and sweet.

So I am definitely working on speed now - completely inspired by the 10kers today - my next one is in July - i want to nail it an hour- so need to knock 15 mins of current best time.

So happy - I Love running:-)

Lovely post Suzy and one I think we can all relate too. Once you get past the breathing and going into longer distances thats when it all works. Absorbing all your surroundings, getting lost in your own thoughts and allowing yourself, selfish time. It's human nature, we were built to run... no expensive gyms just the desire to put your trainers on and go! Glad you are back out there and inspiring others to do/feel the same. Keep enjoying! :)

Hi Suzy, glad to hear you're back out there and still enjoying your running. It inspires us to keep going too

I'm not getting any faster but still plugging away and eating up the miles. Loving the freedom of the great outdoors too. I like the task of looking for new places to run. You certainly find out lots more about the place where you live that's for sure
