Brilliant! Is she going to Rio in 2016?

Sadly no. She is Somerset's County Champion but a Cornish girl is faster. She loves sport and comes easy to her but Olympic material? Enjoys having a life too :)

Thank you - I am! and after years of hanging around race tracks, watching her, I finally get a small idea of how good it is when you push yourself x

Thanks Jj - Our children can be a source of both inspiration and motivation (there's a poem in there somewhere :) )

Hi. Congratulations to your daughter. You should be very, very proud. What age group is she? Our son (15) has just come 5th in the England and Wales for his quad sculling.Proud Dad and Mum.

Great Pic.

Thanks Sally - she is 14 and congratulations to your son too! That is quite an accomplishment!! No wonder you are both proud. It is so wonderful to hear about these stories of children succeeding despite being in a world full social media, phones and gaming devices. The press would have us all believe they are becoming robots! Not if we have anything to do with it!! Can be hard travelling all around the UK to support them but worth it. I wish him all the best for his continuing success! :)
