A certain budget supermarket (whose name I shan't mention as I don't want to be accused of spamming) is selling running clothes so I bought myself a pair of breathable lycra shorts. (I swear a cyclist was looking at my bottom this morning as he passed me! Lol)
But there were t shirts and leggings, breathable jackets and everything.

You are lucky the cyclist only looked. Once upon a time a few decades ago, I was walking home from work and a jogger pinched my bottom as he went past ! Still makes me laugh when I think about it . 
Oh my husband looks. He eventually has to pass though, before it comes too obvious (so he tells me) LOL
I got some running capri's off SD from my husband for Christmas. He thought they were long leg (I'm a short ar*e) Cheeky devil! They aren't very good mind you. All crinkly and the seams are sewn a bit anyhow so are puckered. They waistband goes up at the front and down at the back. I swear I'm not that shape but I look like Tweedledee in em! LOL Nike for me next time! My long leg Nikes fit really well. I got running tops from Al*i and they're fine. The socks are too
After months of wearing old sweat pants with lovely fleece inside and a reminder of my birth year splashed down the front (69 shush!). I decided to buy some shorts too. My old faithful's are starting to get a little hot now but it's weird , like taking my comfort blanket away! I shall be braving the shorts tomorrow. Changed my mind at the last minute for yesterdays run. How do you get over the shyness of revealing more?
Take a trip to the beach lol. We are all shapes and sizes and ladies have lumpy bits. Just enjoy your run xxx
Firstly - I am a bloke, so feel free to ignore me... BUT...
1) Having "real" running gear makes you feel like a "real" runner.
2) Running gear keeps you cooler than cotton ever could!
3) Not everything has to be "next to skin". You won't catch me in tights...
4) No-one is "evaluating" you while you're out on a run... how many joggers did you see out today while you drove into town? Bet you can't remember!
You'll feel awesome and all women are beautiful...
Also - anyone who's out and running is getting fitter with every step... just saying...
