I know we get our lovely shiny graduate badge but it would be nice to get an actual, physical lump of metal. Lots of people who graduate will probably never run in an organised race so will never get a tangible reward for their running even though they have all worked incredibly hard to attain the 30 mins of running. I would happily pay £10 or even more for a shiny medal. Are there no entrepreneurs out there who want to offer them for sale in the same way as the t-shirts are?
We deserve a medal!: I know we get our lovely... - Couch to 5K
We deserve a medal!
Is that warm glowing feeling not enough...
( I've not got there yet, so I don't know )
Seriously though, I'd buy something as a memento that I'd done this, if I ever get there.
There is a memento to buy.....
See the pinned question/pinned post regarding the tee shirts
If I graduate, I was thinking of putting it on my CV!!!
WHEN you graduate! and yes, it is tempting to put it on the CV!
Actually yes, I'd buy a medal too as it would be a nice way to celebrate the achievement of graduating.
Yes - When I graduate, must be more positive
Think I may purchase some new clothing when it happens - still using 2nd hand stuff at the moment

I wasn't classing the t-shirt in the same category as the original poster was implying.
...but I do plan on buying the t-shirt anyway, had my eye on one for a while. Sadly I ground to a halt on W8R3 with injuries.
When you have recovered from the injury make sure you take it steady getting back in to the program to aviod re injury.. Wish you well..
I like my badge
For once, I really do not know what to say!
Yeah a medal would be fun, especially for those of us that don't fancy a tshirt
I agree, a medal of some kind would be nice and maybe an extra incentive to complete the c25k
Sounds like the market research has been done now, so it's just up to some entrepeneur to get 100 made in bulk for a quid each and sell them on for a fiver plus 99p p&p. Who's up for a making themselves a neat profit?
A quid each?! They'll be generic rubbish!
I just completed C25K and have a medal to show for it, which even shows the time I ran! There are some 'virtual running' sites, where you pay a fiver. Some of the money goes to charity and the rest pays for your medal, and they put your time on the website as part of that month's 'race results'. I think it's a great idea. Gets you running for fitness, for charity, and for bling! 2 British ones I know of are virtual runner UK and virtual running UK. Have a looksie!
