Odd question, did think about safety pinning or clip of some sort to stop me having to pull the lead further up from my shirt collar. Any bright ideas that don't involve making holes in my clothes
head phone leads keep slipping down inside shi... - Couch to 5K
head phone leads keep slipping down inside shirt and ends up making the leads almost pull my in ear head phones out
Safety pin them to the label?
Or tuck them down inside your shirt deliberately, I do, it keeps it out of the way of flapping arms and hot glass (my other hobby).
Edit: sorry I meant run them up inside your shirt deliberately, so from waistband pocket inside shirt to ears. No good if you wear your iPod in a arm holder though.
My head phones are "in ear" but have hook kind of things over the ears to keep them in place. I only ever run with one in so I can hear the traffic. I have the lead going to that ear on the outside, then stick the one I'm not using down inside the front of my t-shirt. I've tried a few different options and this is the best solution that I've found. The head phone in my ear stays in place, the one I'm not using doesn't bounce around all over the place, and the lead between my headphone and phone doesn't get in the way (my phone is in the back pocket of my running trousers and the lead comes round the front). I think you need to try a few things out and see what works best.
I got so irritated with all the headphones palaver that I bought some wireless bluetooth ones that work very well. No leads, earphones on head, phone in pocket. Hey presto !
Electricians tape, fiancée uses it to keep his in place on our yearly ski hols as he tapes it up his arm to his neck to his thermals before putting his outer jacket on cheap and leaves no marks!
i got some at sports direct for £4.99 that are fixed either side by a framework that goes behind your head, plus a clip that secures lead to your top, see link below:

they're really good at staying put, though a bit of a dayglow colour! also in pink!
Thanks for the suggestions folks. Sorted it now, found an old hands free kit from so many phones ago, little clip on there just the right size for my headphone cable. Horrible feeling I'm gonna get wet tomorrow morning on wk4 r2, oh well perhaps it will keep me cool.
Glad you have it sorted but I switched to a bluetooth headset because my earbuds kept falling out and generally annoying me xxx
2 ideas. 1st is to take the lead through a button hole at the neck (either once through or twice) which will stop it slipping down. 2nd is to invest in bluetooth headphones so no leads to slip...
