Me and my girl having a cwtch.

As for the run.... It was solid!! I stuck to the flat again today and have had a rough day so I was flagging and didn't want to go!! I finished with a breathless cheer and noted I got 0.09 miles further than last time! This was the aim of course and I was hoping for more (considering the aches and PMT amongst other things). However it works out at 15 minute mile. Bearing in mind that includes the 10 minutes walking. I think that's not bad at all. I still need to speed up a lot though to get 5K under 30.

Humph.... Well I was feeling really negative as I was finding it hard but... That has changed knowing that I did so well!

Happy running all!!!

  • Well done !!!! Your dog is smiling at your success, bless. Is she running with you?

Don't worry about the 5k thing. Just concentrate on finishing and doing what Laura says. Do each run, tick it off and move on to the next.

No negatives allowed, only positive thinking ta!

  • Yes she comes with me. I run on my own so probably wouldn't if I didn't have her with me! I go on walking tracks in the middle of nowhere!

  • Good for you. I find it harder to run in the evening so well done for getting out there and for getting further. No reason to feel negative - you did it. Also you managed to get your girl to stay still long enough to get a photo! Any photos I try to get of our guy are just a blur - maybe I should try to keep up with him - on second thoughts - No chance!

  • I prefer the mornings. It's really had to get a pic of her. She knows the sound of the camera switching on and doesn't like the flash (only used it once by accident). It's a combined effort! She's not bothered outside though! Strange

  • I run on my own on trails but don't really worry. Nothing's happened yet fortunately. I try and remember to take my phone

I try and run with my neighbour's dog, as much as he will let me, before he messes about and trips me up. Good fun though
