Go for it. You probably won't enjoy it at first but as you progress you start to look forward to a run.

By the way, is there a place where you can log the C25K runs?

On the right hand side you will see 'Pinned posts' and 'Couch to 5K wall chart to download' which someone has kindly posted. Good luck with the running and welcome to the community.

Thanks no-excuse, I grabbed that yesterday, but I did see a post somewhere that was mentioned last year when folk were posting to some table as a group. Suppose that's no use if you are starting up on your own though.

Welcome Leuconoid! you've just given me a brilliant idea for a running holiday! You'll really enjoy the programme and the support from the forum family is second to none. I'm aiming to graduate at the weekend but w1r1 feels like yesterday. Enjoy!

Thanks and good luck for the weekend then Josielle! There is an island called Terschelling off the coast of Holland that is perfect for walking and running. One big sand dune and beach.

I'm gonna book my ticket! Hills are the bane of my life. Can't shift for the darned things. LOL

Happy running Leuc. Sounds like you're going to have a terrific running experience over there. The scenery sounds wonderful!

Ha, well the dunes are quiet high, here is a panorama view I took the other week. 360.io/VmATjz

Perhaps you will have to run on the beach or foreshaw as running in those dunes would be like wading I fear. Mind you it would build up those calf muscles quite nicely

No, seriously keep on the flat while you're in the early stages. I did my ankle on a steep slope so now I'm trying to avoid them but in Derbyshire it's a big ask. LOL

That's a beautiful photo by the way. I love those windswept wildernesses!

This panoramic was taken a few weekends ago whilst on a break, I hadn't even thought of jogging at that stage, only walking/biking. 24km the following day was well worth it. No, jogging in the sand would be a mistake and nobody really wants to know how anyone can run in them but I hear some do.

Not what you're looking for?
