Okay, so got to the end of wk4, really chuffed but my shins and knees weren't! So I've rested up for two weeks and gone back to the start, wk1. This time I'm going to follow advice and do each week twice with a two day gap between runs and plenty of stretching

Good luck! Main thing is that you're getting out there and that you keep at it. Really hope your shins / knees hold up and that you're happier taking it at your own pace. I bet you surprise yourself though!

It makes sense to listen to your body and do what works best for you. There is nothing wrong in repeating runs/weeks. I think it's best to just enjoy the programme and not worry if it takes a bit longer to graduate. Good luck and my best wishes to you.
