Yahool! My first 5k charity run. Finished and searching for my next run

Motivated by my daughter's challenge to run a 5k (her second, my first) and staring down a 60h birthday....I decided now or never. So graduated from the C25K and 2 weeks later ran my first 5k in South Boston for the Boys & Girls Club. It was great. The 2,000 runners helped to relieve my jitters and it was all about the fun...and of course the finish. Thank you to all for your posts which encourage and motivate. This IS doable.

Sounds like you had fun, and yes it is doable and it's great when it all comes together. Well done.

That's my goal, the running with my daughter bit. Not so easy because she lives upstate New York and I am in Edinburgh :( She is coming home for a couple of weeks in the summer though :)
