Hello folks. I have just invested in yet another running item of clobber - compression guards for my calves and shins. My thinking being that if I had some extra lycra gripping my legs it would make my shin splint pain less.....er......painful?
Anyone else tried these babies? At this rate when I go out, I'll look like RoboCop!

I went out in full compression gear yesterday! I felt partly like a tit and partly SUPER fly in my all-black sleek gear, with my dashing purple trainers and matching hair (and red face by the end of my run)
I have compression socks but not the leg guards - not spent long enough using the socks yet but hopefully they'll help support my slightly achey left foot!
Can't say I have... Ive seen a few hard cores wearing fancy knee high socks with PR knickers at the Eden HM... I thought they were just going for the naughty schoolgirl look but I think they must have been compression socks... Good luck and happy body part compression running!
