week 2

Have restarted week two again today (got set back last week) ......why is running in day light so much easier? I was going to wait until it got dark thinking people wouldnt see me trundling around. ...I feel somewhat liberated doing it infull light! everyone saw me and i hadnt got a care in the world.i thought missing last week would of knocked me back but it was like getting back on a bike that you'd fallen off.....the thought of running for a whole 30 mins or 5k scares me....but proud im doing it-baby steps! im rambling as so chuffed with myself.x

  • just concerned that my pace isnt very good. I still only seem to be jogging and not in time with the music. was a good run tonight.....didnt over think things for a change.x

  • I was worried about that too. But when you finish the programme you'll have plenty of time to up your pace. Right now I'm focussing on getting through the run without stopping. I'll worry about speed later! I also do a few runs in the gym so I can monitor pace there, but running on a treadmill is a lot easier! Good Luck!

  • Stop worrying about 30 mins and 5k.........those are for the future and you will take them in your stride, because you are out there enjoying your running and making real progress. Take it steady. I have abandoned my headtorch morning runs through the mud, leaving me with only one weekend run, but boy do I enjoy that.
