I know there are some of you out there who have also got one so I thought I'd pick your brains.
I got mine yesterday, charged it up overnight, downloaded the manual (why can't they put at least the basics in the box?), registered online and put it on this morning. Fairly simple until I start thinking about things and trying things out.
I have mine on my dominant arm and have told my settings this but would it be better on my other arm? Is the sensitivity different depending on each arm?
How do I change my targets? It's on steps and I know how to change to calories etc but can I change the number it's set for?
I know you're probably thinking read the instructions and I would if I had a paper copy but hate reading and navigating on screen and refuse to print out.
If anyone can give tips of any kind really I'd be grateful. Thank you.

I've had the fitbit one for a week and really like it. Its ambitious and takes a lot of the maths out of it for me!
I think you need to make the changes you are wanting from your dashboard on the online dashboard, click the cog symobol in the bottom left corner of each target - see community.fitbit.com/t5/For...
Athough this is for the Force it works for my One too so should work for you.
I have mine on my dominant arm also and have synced it with my phone (android) and MyFitnessPal, together with Map My Run. As you enter the food that you eat, it updates Fitbit and adjusts the calorie settings accordingly, the same for the run.
The default setting for steps in a day is 10,000 which I gather is a sort of norm for a healthy lifestyle. On the days when you go on a run, you will obviously get to the 10,000 steps much more quickly, which will also adjust your calories.
My job is fairly inactive so I struggle to get above 7000 steps on a day when I don't run but on running days, I have got to 25,000 steps which makes my weekly steps around the 100,000 mark.
The sensitivity is different on your dominant arm as it should be. You will be doing more with that arm than the non dominant one. To make sure the setting is correct, log on to your fitbit account on your computer and click settings. You can then make sure you have it on the correct arm. Either one is fine as long as you have it set correctly.
You can also set it to track your sleep patterns and time. As you go to bed, tap it for 2 seconds until you get two outside lights that gradually turn off. When you wake up, tap it for another couple of seconds and your sleep will appear on your phone or computer.
Thank you. I have got app on my phone although it won't sync as its a Sony. Am syncing with myfitnesspal. Starting to get the hang of it I think but all advice gratefully received.
