Lots to share since my last post :)

I went out for my planned 5k run this morning on my own for the first time since before Christmas. It was strange not to have someone setting my pace for me but I felt strangly free to enjoy my own company and it was lovely to run along in a self reflexive state.

Any who, I have signed up for the glow in the dark 5k next month, which I am really looking forward too and whilst being in a very ambitious mood booked the race for life 10k in July and the selsey 10k in March! I think I may have let the moment over take my rationale especially as I had already signed up for the Highclere 10k in May a few weeks ago.

My running schedule has gone from doing the annual 5k race for

life to having a race nearly every month.

I haven't long been back from uni and have been busy sorting out the kids and putting dinner on but I just checked my Facebook and I have been invited to run as the Rowan's hospice mascot in March for their 5k fun run! I am so chuffed to be asked to run for them and have gratefully accepted. I can hand on heart say that running has changed my life in ways I would never have imagined when I started the c25k.

I am floating on air right now :)

Wow your running is going from strength to strength. That glow in the dark sounds fun. Someone else on here was looking at that too. You've obviously got a talent there Jenner78.

I really fancied running around in the dark covered in glow sticks lol! I ordered a pack of 100 just to make sure I'm seen.

I am really glad it's in March and not during the midsummer because it would have made running in the mascot suit very hot.

Yes it's a meerkat, apparently it's quite thin but the head is going to get stuffy. I will be wearing shorts and a vest top underneath to stop me getting too hot.
