Yes it is. I know it sounds scary but trust Laura and you will be able to do it. The programme has prepared you for this so go for it. It is more of a mental challenge than physical at this stage so just tell yourself you're ready, because you are.

Most of us here felt the same and this run is quite (in)famous. When I saw it coming up I thought it must have been a mistake in the programme!

The feeling after you've done it is worth savouring. Enjoy!

Yes this is right and you will do it! Don't worry, start out nice and slow and ease into it. Looking forward to reading your post-run post :)

Mental rather than physical challenge, take it steady, listen to Laura and you will do it, then enjoy the feeling and celebrate. Don't forget to post your achievement on here

Try not think about 20 minutes. You can do it!

Just take it slowly and listen to the music.

Let us know how you got on.

Thanks for this Q & A.I needed this coz I am about to start week 5 and was (not now) overwhelmed having to run 20 mins.

Try not to think of it as 20 minutes - break the run down into sections. 2 x 8 minutes is 16 minutes, so you know you can run for that length of time. All you're doing is stitching them together plus another 4 minutes.

Aim for perhaps 10 mins, then when you've made that, just another 8 (which you know you can do!) plus 2 more. Or 8+2, then another 8+2 or whatever amount of time you feel happy with.

Don't go too quickly, slow is good and slow down even more if you need to! You definitely can do it. If you do begin to doubt, just concentrate on what you are going to write on here WHEN you do it!

Hi all, thanks for all the advice and support. I didn't do it yesterday due to saturday night alcohol intake but I got up this morning at 6 in the dark and frost and completed it.....whoop whoop. Couple of snails sped by me but I can build on speed later :)
