Help me, mate. I've not heard from you for a few days and am approaching Wk6 R3. Verbal assistance needed to force me through this. Where are you?

Hey Dozzer19,

Victor checking in!

So today is your final run for Week 6.

I know it's 25 minutes. Don't be put off by that, you 'can' do it and you will!

Remember you have run for 20 minutes in Week 5 run 3, so set your mind for an extra 5 minute challenge.

Listen to Laura and take your time. It's not a race!

It's very wet here in London, but I am going to go out and attempt Week 6, run 2.

I generally never run in the rain, but it's just water right?

I've just had a cup of tea and some cereal, so I'm fuelled up. I'm going to put on my running gear and get out there.

I'm right behind you!!

Let me know how you get on.

Good luck

V

Great to hear from you so soon. Thanks. Hope your run went well. I'm all set for Wk 6 Run 3 now on Monday. Weather here dry but as I tell the pupils at work - you'll not dissolve. Go for it.

in reply to dozzer19

Oh! I thought you were running today.

Nevermind, I got that wrong.

I just got back and I feel okay.

It was a tad windy, spitting and damp. I was a bit slow, I didn't stop though and I did it.

Week 6 run 2 accomplished.

Like you I will be attempting Week 6, run 3 (gulp) next week (perhaps Tuesday) with my new route.

Keep up the running spirit.

Yep, like you it was Run 2. 3 will have to be monad as Tuesday I have to get three wisdom teeth out. Can't imagine running being comfy for a few days after that. Keep smiling - think how fit we're getting.

6/3 done. Thanks for your further encouragement and 'bullying' to keep going.

Am not sure if I'll still be of this world by lunchtime. Now I have to go and take up a carpet before starting to decorate.

Hope you're keeping your chin up and staying busy.

Good luck for tomorrow.

in reply to dozzer19

Fantastic!!

Bullying??? I would hope I'm not!

I'm mentally preparing myself for tomorrow morning. 25 minutes (gulp)!

in reply to

You can do it!!!!!

Thank you Kiwihelen.

I'm nervous and starting to bottle it:-((.

Just checked the weather...forecast is more rain.

Hey, Viktor. No bottling it! You can do it! Have belief in yourself! You're becoming a new man. Go for it! Thinking of you pushing me through the rain this a.m. is the only way I got it done. You're like a friendly sergeant major shouting at me to continue. I'm not fast but we can do this, mate. Keep believing. Am having teeth out under anaesthetic tomorrow - I'd certainly prefer to be out there in the rain. (It's always raining in the North.) Go, Viktor, go!

Bless you dozzer19! I'm going to try.

Try! Think of my teeth!

in reply to dozzer19

I'd rather run than lose anymore of my teeth!

You win dozzer.

Hi Victor. Here I am minus teeth and in pain. Hospital said not to overdo it for a couple of weeks so I think I'm going to start again at the end of next week on Week 5. I've decided there's nothing wrong with taking a step back if necessary rather than finish myself off, not succeed and become disillusioned. How did 6/3 go? Doz

Victor you can't leave this on a cliff hanger like this- tell dozer how you got on. There are people out here following this story.

in reply to waletta

Lol! I didn't realise anyone read what I wrote.

I did it, I totally did it Waletta.

Phew! I've only just been able to access the site. So glad you did it. A happy ending to that episode. Role on the rest of the series. Just used the link below & read your post too. Great feeling isn't it.

Hey Waletta! I didn't realise anyone read these either! It's good to have the group support. Doz

Of course we do. I sometimes think I spend too much time reading but anyway I hope you are feeling better soon. I had just the one tooth removed on Thursday & that was bad enough so you have my sympathy.

in reply to dozzer19

Dozzer19, you poor thing! How are you?

I did run 6/3 it was absolutely brilliant! I smashed it.

I ran for 25 minutes non-stop.

Had a few days off due to work pressures so no run since Tuesday. Back on it Sunday.

Well done Vik! I'm truly impressed. Now I'm obliged to get back to it as soon as possible. I'm not having you graduate ages before me. I didn't realise anyone read these either! Top man!
