Got too excited about my last session of week 1 and started off running faster than I should. Now have sore legs & knees!

Must remember I'm 3 stone over weight & my poor bones aren't used to this running lark :-)

Well done. I'm not sure that I could run fast in week one, couldn't walk fast. I still get sore and will start week 9 at the weekend. As long as its not hurting and only sore because of previously underused muscles. Good luck with week 2.

Thanks alliesp, yes it's just frightened muscles lol. Bought shoes after gait analysis so I know it's not that. Good luck with week 9.

Do you stretch after your run? Laura doesn't talk about stretching but it makes a work of difference to me.

Hiya, thanks for the advice. I do stretch afterwards but I was in a rush last nite so probably didn't hold them long enough. Can feel a few twinges today but gonna rest and try Pilates DVD tomorrow.
