Given that 10 weeks ago I didn't know what an MP3 player was, and had never even run for a bus.....

the sentence, "I've just been downloading tracks from amazon on to my mp3 player to last for a 28 minute run" would not have entered my top 10 most likely things to say before the end of 2013. :)

I felt I needed a music boost rather than Laura as I start week 8 (tomorrow). I am also going to change my route to try and eliminate the feeling "I can't run further than the place I stopped for week 7 runs". I found it helpful running in a different town yesterday, it was good to have my usual 'how much longer markers' removed with unfamiliar landmarks.

Yes, I do that with markers too. A change of scenery is great I think as it keeps you interested if there's fresh countryside or townscape flashing by. I was in the same place as you, and started fresh off the couch and it's amazing to be running isn't it. Mind you don't do too much too soon like I have because now I'm injured due to being too enthusiastic. Sob

Taking your caution on board Misswobble. In fact at the moment I am having 2 days between runs as I am prone to fatigue so pacing myself a little. It's taken me 10 weeks to get to the start of week 8. I shall be very careful once I have graduated to consolidate the 30 min runs for a while.

Yes it is utterly amazing to be running.
