Why do some posts have what seems to be a little padlock next to them? I've done a search and can't find the answer.

Locked?

Not sure what that means. Some posts are only visible to members of the forum rather than everyone on the web, a box you tick at the bottom when you start the post. Could be that.

I'm pretty sure that's the answer... the post is only visible to people who are logged in.
