Well, managed my first proper run in about 3 weeks! Only managed 4k in 29 mins but at least I managed to keep going. I feel so pleased to be back running again, and it's given me a definite buzz. I won't feel so guilty about vegging out on the couch with a box of choccies later too!

This gives me great heart. I am being Mr McSlobsville and can't seem to get out the door. Today is rainy, grey, dull, dark & depressing and it's nice to read posts like yours cos it means that I'll be able to get out there again soon. Thanks for your post!

Yay! So glad you have recovered and got back out there. I managed on Thursday and did 27 minutes and 2.5 miles, but like you just so glad to be back out there again. You still going to go for the Boxing Day run?

Haha, thanks for the reminder about Boxing Day run, Lizzie! I'll do my best to drag myself out of bed for it! Are you doing it too? I'm glad you're back running too. Especially with the weather we've been having!

That's the plan at the moment. Was out this morning, going on Christmas Eve morning then Boxing Day. However...I also have plans to go out with my grandson and his mum and dad for a walk on Boxing Day morning before going for an early lunch at 12. Needs to be at that time as the wee boy will need his afternoon nap by 2.30, so I may be being slightly ambitious. We'll see :)

Have a great time!
