Extra rest days

I know my body now , & it likes two rest days not one . My last run was Sunday 5k I did my other run this morning , & really enjoyed it , I felt great . So doing it regular extra rest days more often

Totally with you on that one. I feel so much better when I've had two rest days - and more motivated to get out there too. I guess it stands to reason that as we get older our bodies can take longer to repair and recover. I think the important thing to remember is we're all different so we have to make sure we do what feels right for us. Glad you enjoyed your run today :)

Yes , it's not a coincidence that every time I take them extra days , I'm more motivated as you say & enjoy the run more .im going to do it more often because I'm no spring chicken lol x

I find this too but I hate waiting the extra day, particularly if the conditions on the in between day are good. Don't always wait but I do expect that maybe I'll have to when I start running for longer.
